Dates have been revealed for this year's international gold, jewellery, silver, gemmology and watch show in Italy - the Vicenza Trade Fair.

The fair will take place from June 11th to 16th and will also include the summer edition of Oromacchine - a show on specialised machinery and technology for the gold industry.

A host of events are planned during the fair, including technology seminars and a show highlighting the closeness between ancient and modern jewellery techniques.

In addition, the upcoming trends for the jewelery industry will be revealed, allowing an insight into the future of the industry, according to Fibre2Fashion.

Particularly important for the gold industry, Vicenza will also look at the future of gold districts in Italy.

The Vicenza Fair has been running since 1948.
