Already attracting a host of attention, Sony's new PSP handheld system now has golden accessories.

One jewellery company has created a gold and diamond covered shell for the PSP.

The cover worth $35,000 has been made by Simmons Jewelry, according to the Daily Press.

According to reports the casing includes a pound of gold and eight carats worth of black and yellow diamonds.

Hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons already owns one of the glamorous and extravagant accessories.
