America's Artemis Solutions Group (ASG) has announced it is releasing a gold finish version of its fingerprint doorlock technology.

The BioCert Guardian Polished Gold Finish Fingerprint Doorlock is a biometric security product that keeps doors securely locked after customers input their fingerprint details.

Priced at $259.95 the item is targeted at homeowners and people with small businesses who want to keep server rooms or offices secure.

Amy Jones, director of north American sales for ASG, commented: "When we introduced the BioCert Guardian fingerprint doorlock in December of 2004, at $199.95 I knew we had a winner. In the last five months the BioCert Guardian sales have far surpassed the sales of any single biometric product in our four-year history.

"With the introduction of the Polished Gold BioCert Guardian at $259.95 we now offer a more diverse product line and are poised for rapid growth of sales within the design conscious home owner segment."

The technology is seen as the company's signature product and can be installed quickly, running on the same batteries for a year.

With the new precious metal gold version available customers can also ensure the product looks as good as it performs.track
