Priced at $259.95 the item is targeted at homeowners and people with small businesses who want to keep server rooms or offices secure. Amy Jones, director of north American sales for ASG, commented: "When we introduced the BioCert Guardian fingerprint doorlock in December of 2004, at $199.95 I knew we had a winner. In the last five months the BioCert Guardian sales have far surpassed the sales of any single biometric product in our four-year history. The technology is seen as the company's signature product and can be installed quickly, running on the same batteries for a year.
