Expansion plans unveiled by Al HaseenaThursday, 28th April 2005 (5501 views) UAE's Al Haseena jeweller has revealed new plans to expand.The jewellery wholesaler and retailer is looking to increase its distribution network by doubling the number of retail showrooms it has. Al Haseena hopes to increase the number of showrooms over the next two years in the UAE and other countries. Arif B Rahman, director of ETA - Star group, the group the company belongs to, told Mena Report: "We are planning a year-on-year growth rate of at least 25 per cent for the next three years, which will establish us as one of the leading jewellery chains in the UAE." In addition, the firm is starting a new marketing campaign targeting women. The Tribute to Women theme will see Sania Mirza as the first women selected to receive an Al Haseena tribute trophy. Abdul Rahim Haji, general manager of Al Haseena Jewellery explained how the campaign worked: "The Tribute To Women theme aims to honour women who bring loving care into our everyday lives." Women will be given a free tribute leaf gold coin when they spend over Dh2,000 at the new Al Haseena showroom in the next few weeks. The jewellery firm is also looking to launch a number of new exclusive product lines and improve the decoration and design in its outlets.
