Tuesday, 26th April 2005 (5986 views) A top official from the Dubai Metals and Commodities Centre (DMCC) has revealed that the Dubai Gold And Commodities Exchange (DGCX) is set to begin membership in May.<br/><br/>It is hoped the exchange will be in operation from the middle of the summer, with the electronic environment and location all ready.<br/><br/>According to the Khaleej Times the exchange will be the world's first to work seven days a week.<br/><br/>A special diamond training area will also be available through the exchange under a new deal between the Dubai Diamond Exchange and the HRD Institute of Gemmology.<br/><br/>It is hoped the training and exchange will help to boost the local jewellery industry.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8364529"/>
