Not only can new mums ensure their baby is adorned with the latest jewellery looks, but mother and child can now wear matching items.

According to CBS News, as well as creating bling-style items for babies, BabyGUND jewellery now offers items that both mother and baby can wear.

Fans of the jewellery include actress Denise Richards and her daughter Sam, who both own gifts from the collection.

A popular item of choice is the Birth Diamond necklace or diamond tennis bracelet set, with one worn by mum and the other worn by baby.

The Birth Diamond item is set in 14-carat white or yellow gold with a matching chain.

In addition, the bracelets are set in 14-carat white gold and have a 14-carat yellow gold logo in the center.
