Tuesday, 19th April 2005 (5753 views) To celebrate the 2005 NBA Playoffs, a host of National Basketball Association (NBA) legends are to set off on a special US tour.<br/><br/>As part of the tour legends including Julius "Dr. J" Erving, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Bill Russell, Clyde Drexler, Walt "Clyde" Frazier, Robert Parish, Moses Malone, Earl Monroe, Dave Cowens, and George Gervin will stop at the Tiffany store in New York.<br/><br/>At the luxury jewellery store the legends will pick up the 2005 Larry O'Brien NBA Championships trophy, hand made in sterling silver with a 24-carat gold overlay.<br/><br/>The 16lb trophy is two feet tall and features a gold regulation size basketball.<br/><br/>Once the trophy has been displayed, the parade will finish at the NBA store where key figures will participate in a round table discussion about this year's playoffs.<br/><br/>A host of championship rings will also form a unique collection on display with selections from Shaquille O'Neal, David Robinson, Larry Bird and Magic Johnson.<br/><br/>Tiffany has made the NBA's well-known and prestigious trophy every year since 1978.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8309499"/>
