Tuesday, 19th April 2005 (6798 views) If luxurious baby showers and designer clothing wasn't enough, American consumers are now looking to purchase baby bling.<br/><br/>Jewellers in the US are creating a range of jewellery especially for babies, which are miniature versions of the real thing, according to IDEX Online.<br/><br/>BabyGund is particularly cashing on this trend, making necklaces, earrings and bracelets for babies that sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars.<br/><br/>A key feature of the brand is a bear head, the company's logo, which can be found on most of the pieces, such as the miniature gold signet ring for babies selling for $225.<br/><br/>The David Yurman Cable Kids collection is also popular, made from silver and 18 carat gold.<br/><br/>Items include spoons, bracelets, rings and rattles.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8309003"/>
