A new exhibition has opened in Israel, showcasing traditional diamond jewellery from Jaipur in India.

Held in the Henry Oppenheimer Diamond Museum in Ramat Gan, the expo includes a host of pendants, rings, bracelets and decorative containers.

Items are made from a host of various metals including intricate designs using gold, diamond and precious stones, according to National Jeweler.

All the items reflect the Mogul influence on jewellery design in 17th century India.

The event is set to run until July 15th and contains 100 pieces.
