Rumours have been circulating that actress Jessica Alba may be engaged after she was seen wearing a "wedding" ring.

The Sin City star has been spotted wearing a "sparkling ring" on her wedding finger.

This has sparked rumours that she is to wed boyfriend Cash Warren after she was photographed wearing the ring while on a shoot in Vancouver.

Working together in the Canadian city on reshoots for the movie, Ms Alba and Mr Warren were spotted walking together wearing what is claimed to be an engagement ring.

The star's publicist has downplayed the engagement rumours: "She is not engaged. She's had the ring for a while, usually wears it on her right hand but it was swollen, and she switched it."

Alba reportedly received the ring as a gift, however has not elaborated on who gave her the sparkling band.
