Deadline day for Shipman jewellery

Today is the final day for relatives of the Harold Shipman victims to claim jewellery that was found in his home.<br/><br/>The issue was first bought up in March, when widow Primrose Shipman called on the police to return gold jewellery and other items seized by police.<br/><br/>However police officers called on families to come forward with any details proving that the jewellery could have been stolen from the victims.<br/><br/>Any items that are left after day will be returned to Mrs Shipman, according to the BBC.<br/><br/>The items are thought to be worth around £10,000.<br/><br/>Items include wedding rings, necklaces and brooches.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8278428"/>
