US jeweller creates ultrasound jewellery

Thursday, 14th April 2005 (4400 views)

Jeweller Jessica Sexton has helped create a new range of jewellery for mothers to treasure their baby's ultrasound images.

The innovative Ultrasound Unlocket is a modern, open-face locket, available in either 14-carat gold or sterling silver.

Due to the design of the item, it permanently holds a single photo and can be worn as a necklace, charm bracelet or key ring.

Stars including Madonna, Nicole Ritchie and Sharon Osbourne have all been spotted with Unlockets already.

According to Ms Sexton the items are waterproof and can be engraved, with original photos downsized and not harmed.

Prices for the gold Unlockets range from $325 to $650.track
