Rajesh Exports has secured a new deal to supply Rs 1.32 billion ($30.34 million) of 22 carat gold designer jewellery to a UAE based business.

Excel Goldsmiths wants the order to be provided over a period of four months, IANS reports.

Rajesh Mehta, chairman of Rajesh Exports, said: "Traditionally, the Middle East has been a major consumer of Indian made designer jewellery and we enjoy a strong presence there."

The order is the "second big win for the company in this quarter" according to the firm, following a deal with Gold Star Jewellers for Rs 14.6 billion ($33.56 million).

Rajesh is a key player in the domestic and global market and has a presence in a number of countries including the Middle East, the US, South East Asia and Britain.track
