Jewellery trade show reports record resultsThursday, 18th November 2004 (4060 views) The Jewellers International Showcase (JIS) has announced that this year's jewellery trade show in Miami experienced record buyer and seller growth.This year's event, held in October, was the 48th Miami Beach Jewelry Trade Show and success was unsure since it followed hurricanes so closely. However, attendance and participation were both particularly high over the three days, with over 12,000 buyers attending. Around 750 exhibitors took part in the show, up by 15 to 18 per cent compared to the last show and many reported volumes of more than $1 million.
