Swarovski has launched a new collection of pieces all inspired by African designs.

The new 'Out of Africa' accessories feature African-inspired, earthy tones and organic textures and shapes.

Among the collection is a wooden bowl covered in red, orange and fuschia leaves set in gold metal, priced at $510.

The selection is the first in a themed series, which the company is promoting to help set new standards and show off innovative design.

As well as homeware pieces, the Out of Africa range includes a host of jewellery and accessories such as ethnic inspired gold earrings, necklaces, charms and rings.
