Opera lovers offered golden ticketsMonday, 15th November 2004 (2759 views) The marketing team behind a new opera to be shown in Korea has created special tickets made out of real gold and silver.According to the Korea Times, the tickets for 'Turandot' will be given to VIP, Royal and Special seat holders and costs 300 million won to produce. The items have been designed so that they can be used as part of a key chain or necklace. Each ticket displays the usual information found on a regular ticket, but will be placed on precious metal rather typical card or paper. Tickets will be sold in pairs and are part of promotion for the opera, which will be running for two weeks.
