A tie worth Rs 1 crore has gone on display in India, showcased as the world's most expensive tie.<BR/><BR/>The item was created by Indian diamond jewellery firm Ishi's and is made of pure silk and 150 grams of white gold.<BR/><BR/>According to Fibre2Fashion, the item is on display in Punjab Jewellers until tomorrow and was unveiled by a well-known local model.<BR/><BR/>The tie runs with the theme of 'One world - with a diamond for everybody and for every occasion'.<BR/><BR/>Some shoppers will be allowed to wear the tie and have their pictures taken with it and there will also be contests held based on the item.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=3470900"/>
