Olympic swimmer Jodie Henry swapped her gold medals for gold jewellery, when she helped launched a new $2.5 million necklace this week.

Ms Henry, who won three Olympic gold medals, wore the top piece at the Stefano Canturi jewellery salon in Brisbane and was also seen sporting the latest fashions.

The jewellery item is a pear shaped Island Luxe Treasure diamond necklace, with a stone surrounded by black diamonds and coming off four white gold chains, as well as a white gold coral trail at the back.

"I feel very special wearing the Island Luxe. It's so beautiful, very feminine and I feel like a princess," Ms Henry said.
