Friday, 3rd September 2004 (4425 views)

Two first-place honours in the jewellery design competition have been awarded to Jerry Lindsey Custom Jewelry, Review Appeal has reported.

The awards, sponsored by the Tennessee Jewelers Association, were presented on August 22 at the organisation's statewide convention in Nashville.

In Category Two, which includes jewellery valued between $2,000 and $6,000, Jerry Lindsey's custom-made .92-karat marquise diamond ring set in white gold with a tiny band of yellow gold in the centre won first place.

Mr Lindsey, who has been making custom-made jewellery for more than two decades, also took the highest honours in Category Three, which covered jewellery worth more than $6,000.

The centerpiece of this ring was a 3-karat emerald, surrounded by diamonds and set in yellow gold.
