The popular US jewellery line BabyFeet has been made available in boutique retail stores, according to the company's president Kristen Marr.

Items in the range are based on innovative custom designs of newborn baby feet, with pieces including slides, charms and bracelets, in 14 carat yellow or white gold.

Ms Marr commented: "We tried to create something that really celebrated the bond between mother and child.

"I'm targeting small boutique jewellery stores and fine clothing stores so we can keep the personal touch in terms of sales and design. I decided to go wholesale and into the boutique market so more women could see the collection."

Additional key reasons for the new retail availability were a strong interest from retailers and an increasing customer demand.

The jewellery will still continue to be available on the company's website for orders and purchases.
