Indian jewellery trends becoming more innovativeFriday, 23rd July 2004 (4473 views) Indian students are displaying the latest fashion - combining jeans and casual clothes with jewellery, and arguing without jewellery they "feel incomplete".Like typical students the 'collegians' have little money but spend what they do have on accessories, according to The Hindu. Reportedly, old vintage items are particularly in fashion with the college market at present, with "those with a true passion" spending their money on "silver and gold rings". The trend is not just for women either, with men reportedly wearing big rings and beads too. A number of college students are said to be creating their own jewellery now, with unique and innovative pieces proving particular popular. Other popular items are long earrings and pieces created from twisted and twined gold and other metals.
