Steve Spray, the director of LaSalle Investment Management, told the Scotsman: "Links of London is another high-profile letting for The Walk. We already have top fashion, but The Walk is going to offer a lot more besides." It is thought the luxury store will open next to Louis Vuitton at the end of September into a 700sq ft site. Links was started in 1990 by designer Annoushka Ducas and husband John Ayton and boomed once Harvey Nichols ordered a whole collection of cufflinks the company had created. "We are delighted to open a store in Edinburgh. We have launched ourselves in Glasgow three months ago and have wanted to find a suitable location in Edinburgh for some time," Mr Ayton added.
