Marc Anthony, the latest husband of Jennifer Lopez, has treated his wife to a new $24,000 gift - a pair of flip-flops.

The fabulous footwear is reportedly to show off her "beautiful" feet and is trimmed with 18-carat gold 'feathers'.

A friend revealed to BANG Showbiz: "The flip flops are so extravagant. They are so bling with delicate shavings of real gold feathers."

The salsa singer and pop diva married in a surprise ceremony nearly two weeks ago, but last week reports suggested their marriage could be invalid.

Married at Jennifer's LA mansion the wedding is said to have occurred too early to be valid, following Marc Anthony's divorce from former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres.
