Prince's lightweight jewellery proves a success

Friday, 11th June 2004 (4205 views)

India's Prince Jewellery is reaping the benefits of the latest trend in Chennai for lightweight jewellery.

The contemporary jeweller was the first to offer a lightweight collection and specialises in the latest fashions with designs available in gold and coloured gold.

Prince focuses on 'career women' and is known for its custom made items as well as offering instalment schemes for buyers and offering opportunities to jewellery design students.

Reportedly export of gold jewellery is set to grow by around 30 per cent this year due to increasing demand in key markets and a move by local makers for new designs and better quality.

Among the items offered by Prince are gold bangles, necklaces and earrings. Collections include 1gm jewellery and innovative and more traditional designs.
