The owners of the longest established jewellery retailers in America's Edison Mall have announced they are retiring.

Kunwar and Usha Jain, from Renaissance Fine Jewelry will retire at the end of May after 19 years in the jewellery sector, according to News Press.

Jewellery has run through the family for years, indicated by their name Jain which means a class of people made up of jewellers in native India.

Around 7,000 different gold charms were available from the jewellers, which dealt in "one-of-a-kind pieces", tennis bracelets and Omega necklaces.

The couple are to stop selling the jewellery ranging in price from $10 to $5,000, to allow more time with family in India and the US.
