Exchange brings sparkle to disability eventMonday, 17th May 2004 (4090 views) The American Gold & Diamond Exchange bought smiles to the faces of young disabled children this week.Young children all with physical or mental disabilities were attending a Crystal Ball and female students were allowed to pick out any jewellery items they wanted to wear for the event and keep them. Manager of the girl's Gail House, Dorna Walker, told the Tyler Morning Telegraph: "They were so excited. We just couldn't believe they were going to let them keep the jewellery. We all just cried and cried after we got the call." The ball was organised by the Community Workforce and is run each year by a group of volunteers.
