Envelope design delivers high profits for US jewellersWednesday, 7th April 2004 (4222 views) Adding to the latest trend for innovative design in the jewellery market, a US jewellery company has been set up based on envelopes.Company owners, married couple Robbi and Barry Potter, offer a range of gold bracelets and necklaces with a locket shaped like a small envelope under their Message Connextion's Envelove range. Designs come in 18 carat gold pieces adorned with diamonds, other more affordable items in 14 carat gold and options to place gold ornaments on top of the envelope, according to Sun Sentinel. Over 125 types of the locket are now sold by the company in around 650 jewellery, speciality and gift stores. Prices start at around $60 up to several thousand dollars and customers can even have a personal message inscribed onto a small plaque on the gold envelope.
