Gold adds glamour to washing powder

Thursday, 18th March 2004 (4715 views)

Indian consumers are being offered the chance to win pure gold jewellery in a new washing powder launch.

Procter & Gamble Home Products Limited (P&G) has set up a Towering Gold Dhamaka to promote reduced prices of its Ariel and Tide washing powder packs.

As part of the campaign used washing powder coupons will be entered in a draw which will be held every ten days. First place winners will receive a gold jewellery set worth 25,000 rupees from TBZ.

A host of celebrities have helped promote the products for years and the precious metal is sure to help reflect the "superior quality" of their products and offer their customers a touch of glamour.

The pure gold collection is on display at the towers at the Tide Junction in the Giant hypermarket in Malad.
