Wednesday, 17th March 2004 (6633 views) Gold jewellery is being sold online on Korea's Internet shopping sites. <BR/><BR/>A popular feature of Korea's booming broadband usage, gold jewellery sites are becoming more innovative, attracting customers with fun features and cyber co-ordination. <BR/><BR/>This could see customers able to match gold jewellery items with a stylish outfit in order to pick which piece they prefer.<BR/><BR/>Han Seung-soo, president of Juliet Co, one of Korea's largest jewellery shop franchises told the Korea Herald: "People tend to think that buying jewellery on the Web is not a good idea since the items are relatively expensive, but that's just one of prejudices."<BR/><BR/>The jewellery shop offers a range of pendants, fashion accessories in rings made from other precious metals as well as gold and is using the web to market products more effectively.<BR/><BR/>"Jewellery products made in Korea are very sophisticated in design compared with those in overseas markets. And the Web site can come in handy when we want to list items and allow buyers to compare prices and browse product details on the Internet," Juliet Co's president added.
