Italian masters show off jewellery round EuropeFriday, 5th March 2004 (4460 views) A large collection of fashionable jewellery, including a number of stunning gold pieces, is touring Europe.Italian outfit Picchiotti is showcasing an original collection of jewellery of items produced over the last 40 years. The latest location for the firm is Azerbaijan, where the company has selected a group of Prestige shops to display its wares in. A presentation ceremony heralded the arrival of the collection at a flagship store today, when the firm unveiled its showpiece items. Umberto Picchiotti, the younger son of Giuseppe Picchiotti, owner of the company, officially opened the display, adding that the pieces were available to buy. 'The original collection of Picchiotti, which has a group of shops in the United States, Europe and Japan, will return to Italy in three days, but every Azerbaijani citizen may buy the products of the company in this shop,' he told AzerNews. The most expensive jewellery on show in the shop is a necklace worth around $90,000.
