World Gold Council launches its first interactive iPad app ‘Advanced by gold’

‘Advanced by gold’ iPad app provides high quality, sharable, insights, research and thought leadership.
The World Gold Council has today launched its new iPad app which examines the role of gold in today’s world.
The app provides facts about the gold market which demonstrate gold’s continued role in our societies and the potential for growth and new business uses for gold; including investment, jewellery, science and technology, health, government policy and economic development.
It is viewable in other formats on http://www.gold.org/advanced_by_gold/.

It is, however, a continually evolving one which remains relevant for each new generation. This new app provides an overview of gold’s global role economically, financially, culturally and technologically. It provides a highly visual way to access and share the latest stories and uses data and information to demonstrate the best of gold’s unique qualities and uses in today’s world.”
Topical features include an overview of the Indian and Chinese gold markets, the future of the Chinese currency renminbi as a reserve asset (RMB), Eurozone sovereign debt and the fight against malaria and HIV/AIDS.
The app provides:
- Concise articles, video and infographics
- Ability to share of articles, stats and graphs via email
- Export function for data and graphs to PowerPoint or Keynote for use in personal presentations
Once downloaded, the Advanced by gold app will be updated automatically with new insights and up-to-date market data.
