Balancing the economic, environmental and social aspects over both the short and long-term is a challenge, but the World Gold Council and its members are committed to ensuring their activities make a positive contribution to sustainable development. Research plays a key role in helping the industry make informed decisions, leading to more sustainable outcomes. As we complete our sustainability research we will publish our findings in line with our members’ collective desire to operate in a transparent manner.
